SAPA TREK 3 DAY 2 NIGHT HOMESTAY

Expose yourself to the cultures and colour of Vietnam's ethnic minorities on a trek through terraced rice paddies, bamboo groves and thatch villages all in the shadow of Mount Fansipan.

Meet at the Hostel at 9:00pm to leave for the Bus/train Station to catch the overnight sleeper bus/train from Hanoi to Sapa.

 

Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai( Sapa)

Around 8-9pm: You have bus pick up from Hostel to Bus( Train) Station. Overnight on the Sleeper bus( train) to Sapa.

Day 01: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B,L,D)

Arrive Bus( Train) station in the early morning, you have pick up to the Hotel where you will meet your tour guide and other people in your group there.

After freshening up and having breakfast you are free to take a walk around the charming little town of Sapa. Visit  the fascinating market and  the old cathedral where you can meet and greet some of the local ethnic minority people. The Black H'Mong and Red Zao come into town daily to sell their farming produce and hand made crafts...

 Return to the Hotel, we will set off to begin trekking and exploring Muong Hoa valley.12 km of trekking, visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages where are home to the H’mong minority. Have lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank.

We keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where we stay overnight in a local family. Here you have opportunity to experience their daily home life, work and original custom. Relaxing or taking the picture with Rattan Bridge, mountainous sight seeing…

 

Day2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai  – Ban Ho ( B,L,D)

Leaving Tavan after breakfast, you will head off on  an uphill trail, pass fascinating terraced rice fields and trekking through bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village where is home to Red Dzao people.

Have lunch on the way then  we keep on hiking to Ban Ho, the village lies within a beautiful valley. This is home to the Tay minority people who have their traditional house on stilts and we will spend the night here.

Day 3: Ban Ho – Nam Toong – Sapa ( B,L,D)

Have breakfast then you say goodbye to the family. Trekking  to see a  nice waterfall discovered and named “the Lavie” by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy swimming then go up to the mountain to visit a small hamlet of the Red Dzao people called Nam Toong, then trekking back to SuPan for pick up by Jeep to Sapa town.

Free time for the town.

Take the shower and have dinner before transferring to the bus( train) station.

Night 4: Sapa ( Lao Cai) - Hanoi

Sleep on the bus( train). Arrive Hanoi next morning. Tour finishes at the bus( train) station. Take a walk or taxi

( arranged yourself) back to Hostel.

What’s Not:

Bring your passport with valid visa, good hiking shoes, hat, insect repellent, swim-wear, sun-block, warm clothing in winter and a headlamp or torch is always a good idea.
